About the Journal

Turkish Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery started in 1991 as the official periodic publication of Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery and the Turkish Society of Thoracic Surgery. The journal publishes all relevant clinical, surgical, and experimental studies, editorials, current and collective reviews, technical “How to Do It” articles, case reports, interesting images, video articles, reports of “New Ideas”, correspondences, and commentaries, dealing with the subjects of cardiovascular surgery, cardiovascular anesthesia, cardiology, and thoracic surgery in English. The authors are required to provide abstracts in both English and Turkish. An independent, unbiased double peer-reviewed principle is used to select manuscripts for publication. 4 issues are published online in a year (issues in January, April, July, and October).
